Rob Williams
Managing Partner
“The hardest part of growth is often not strategy. It’s leadership, people, and alignment.”
Rob Williams has been in those rooms. As a senior executive at Clear Channel Radio (now iHeartMedia) and Townsquare Media, he held P&L responsibility for the largest and most complex parts of both organizations — overseeing hundreds of millions in revenue, leading sizable teams, and making the calls that couldn’t be delegated. He knows what it costs to lead — and what gets lost when the human side of an organization isn’t working.
Today, as Managing Partner at AO People Partners, he works with CEOs, founders, investors, and leadership teams as an executive advisor and coach — helping them navigate the dynamics that quietly determine whether a strategy actually translates into results. His work sits at the intersection of leadership, communication, alignment, and transformation, across industries including media, technology, financial services, real estate, and fintech.
His approach is direct, warm, and grounded. He asks the questions people have been avoiding. He holds the mirror up without flinching.

"Intention is more powerful than willpower. Willpower, the power of the ego, gets results, sometimes unintended. By comparison, intention is soul power, a spiritual commitment and energy. It elicits unseen forces in service of the purpose and vision that wants to come through us and through our leadership.”– The War of Art by Steven Pressfield
Pressfield captures the truth that we have so much power to create the change we desire. Tapping into our “Soul power” connects us to the forces of positivity and providence.
